Today, the Prime Minister announced that the COVID restrictions that were due to be lifted tomorrow will now be lifted on 15th August at the earliest.

This means that:

• Casinos, bowling alleys, skating rinks and remaining close contact services must remain closed.

• Indoor performances will not resume.

• Pilots of larger crowds in sports venues and conference centres will not take place.

• Wedding receptions of up to 30 people will not be permitted, but ceremonies can continue to take place, in line with COVID-Secure guidelines.

The Prime Minister also announced changes to the Government's policy on face coverings.

Simply, we all need to wash our hands, cover our face, and continue to socially distance.

More details on the Prime Minister's announcements can be found in my attached letter.
