We are offering free vitamin D supplements to 2.7 million vulnerable people this winter.
Restrictions this year have led to people spending much longer inside, with people missing out on time in the sun. Sunshine isn't just pleasant to be in, it's also our most important natural source of vitamin D.
This scheme, being rolled out by the Department of Health and Social Care, will help support general health including bone and muscle health for those who have been spending more time indoors than usual.
