Nottinghamshire Recycling Centres open from 18th May

papers

I'm pleased to say that, from Monday 18 May, a number of recycling centres across Nottinghamshire will be re-opened (albeit with strict controls in place).

The Sherwood sites due to re-open are:

🔹Bilsthorpe

🔹Calverton

🔹Hucknall

The centres at Worksop and Newark have also been reopened.

If you do go to the sites, you must adhere to the strict rules of social distancing that will be in place there, and please don't all rush there first thing on the first day of them re-opening otherwise it'll just cause lengthy traffic jams. A strict one car in one car out policy will be in place at all sites to ensure strict social distancing is followed, and no trailers, vans or pick-ups are allowed onsite.

The sites will operate on reduced hours:

🔸Bilsthorpe, Beeston, Calverton, Hucknall and Worksop will be open 10am-6pm

🔸Newark will be open 10.30am – 4pm
