Support Sherwood's High Streets

Today I visited Goosedale Lodges, an amazing new venue near Bestwood.

It is a great place to unwind and relax on a night away. It was really interesting to see what they have set up. 

Hopefully these new Lodges will be bustling with visitors to Nottinghamshire soon enough. 

Today is National Fish and Chips Day.

This is the 6th annual event, and it is always fantastic to see Sherwood supporting our local Fish and Chip shops. 

Improvements can be made to local high streets across Sherwood to help them safely and successfully open after lockdown thanks to Government funding.

Sherwood's Small Business Competition Winner

I'm incredibly pleased to announce the winner of Sherwood's Small Business Competition 2020 as Studio K Hair and Beauty Salon.

I was up in Edwinstowe & Clipstone with local councillor and business owner Councillor Scott Carlton recently to discuss some of the issues affecting our high streets and our local businesses.

I've been out and about in the top end of the constituency today, and me and the team popped in at the Budby Antiques & Vintage Emporium. 

As well as looking round the antiques, we had some lunch in the Crew Yard cafe.
