New Restrictions Announced for England
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement over the weekend, we are implementing new restrictions across England.
These restrictions are not being implemented lightly, but given the rise in the number of covid-19 cases we are seeing, this is regrettably the actions that we must take to once again slow and tackle the spread of the coronavirus.
As we are closing various businesses and sectors, the Government have announced a range of support measures for these industries. These include extending the Furlough Scheme and the Job Support Scheme, which I will expand on in more detail in due course.
The restrictions from Thursday 5th December
- You must Stay at Home.
- Only leave the home for food, medical reasons, exercise, education or work.
- You should work from home if you can. Industries that cannot work from home, ie. Construction workers, can still go to work.
- Everyone should avoid non-essential travel.
- Schools and essential shops will remain open.
