Meeting residents in Ollerton

Whilst out and about in the constituency last week, I met local Ollerton resident Mr Redfern to hear some of his views on how the area could be improved.

It was great to be invited along with Cllr Phil Rostance to the John Godber Centre in Hucknall a few days back.

I'm pleased to say it is now back open to the public having officially received the ‘We’re good to go’ industry standard mark!

Mark Spencer visits Budby Antiques

I've been out and about in the top end of the constituency today, and me and the team popped in at the Budby Antiques & Vintage Emporium. 

As well as looking round the antiques, we had some lunch in the Crew Yard cafe.

Calverton Bus Update

We've had some positive news this week from Calverton. Myself and a number of Calverton residents have been working to get the sunday bus service re-instated in the village. 

We've been in touch with the Managing Director of Trent Barton (who manage the Calverton Bus Service) directly.

An update on Maid Marian Park

A little while back I went along to Bilsthorpe to meet with local Councillor, Rhona Holloway, to hear about some of the fantastic plans for the Maid Marian play park.

Calverton Recycling Centre - Update

I've been out in Calverton this morning with local village activist Jane Walker, local Cllr Boyd Elliott and Cllr Phil Rostance (Vice chair of communities and Place) from Nottinghamshire County Council to discuss some issues we've been having with the recycling centre in the village.
