Along with all other MPs, Mark Spencer has been elected by the people of his constituency to represent their interests and concerns in the House of Commons. When Parliament is 'sitting', Mark spends a lot of his time in Westminster, raising issues affecting Sherwood constituents, attending debates, voting on new laws, sitting on committees, attending meetings and many other activities. As the Member of Parliament for Sherwood, Mark focusses on a number of key issues that affect his constituents, as well as delivering on his Plan for Sherwood.

Mark as Government Chief Whip

Mark is currently a Minister of State for Food and Farming in DEFRA. Alongside his responsibilities answering business questions, Mark spends his time meeting with Ministers and Colleagues in order to pass the Government's legislative programme and deliver for his constituents.
