105,290 Coronavirus Vaccine Doses have been delivered in Sherwood!

Fantastic news, as of today- 105,290 Coronavirus Vaccine Doses have been delivered in Sherwood!

Thank you to all of our fantastic NHS staff and volunteers who have helped us reach this milestone!

In the UK as a whole, 62,658,639 doses have been delivered.

COVID Regulation changes from 17th May 2021

From the 17th May 2021, we will see more of the Coronavirus restrictions lifted. This is in part down to the amazing success of the vaccine roll out, and the support that we have received from the public in having their vaccine when asked. 

COVID Restriction Changes from 12th April

The success of the vaccine rollout so far and the diligence of the public in staying at home and protecting the NHS means that we are finally able to start reopening venues and relaxing coronavirus measures.

COVID Restriction Changes from 29th March

Today, the National COVID Restrictions have changed across England. 

From today: 

Outdoor Sport and Leisure facilities can resume 
Travel should still be minimised
Rule of 6 or two households can meet outdoors
Household mixing should not happen indoors 

51,841 People in Sherwood Have Received 1st COVID Vaccine

As of Today, 51,841 People in Sherwood have received their first dose of the Coronavirus Vaccine.

This is a massive increase of 6,606 from last week- Thank you to everyone across Nottinghamshire who is working to get as many people protected as possible.

COVID Vaccinations in Sherwood increase by 41.9% in a Week

 

On Thursday, we received the fantastic news that 39,153 people in Sherwood have now received their first Coronavirus Vaccine. This has increased from 27,596 the week before, meaning that there was an incredible 41.9% increase in the number of people vaccinated.

As of today (25th feb) 18,691,835 people across the United Kingdom have received a dose of a covid-19 vaccine.

More locally for us here in Sherwood, I'm incredibly proud to say over 27,000 people have now received a dose of the vaccine

Stay at Home to Protect our NHS

The Prime Minister has announced that there will be a period of national restrictions, including a Stay at Home order, due to the two newest strains of the Coronavirus that have been discovered. 

Rapid-turnaround testing to be deployed across Nottinghamshire

We have announced the rollout of 600,000 rapid-turnaround tests across England, so that we can detect this virus quicker than ever before – even in people who don’t have symptoms – and mass testing will be a vital tool in defeating coronavirus.
