On Monday I met with Rachel from Gingerbread to show my support for single parent families Sherwood and across the UK.

On Friday myself and Cllr Boyd Elliott met with the flood risk team from Nottinghamshire County Council to discuss the flooding issues in Woodborough.

Bilsthorpe Heritage Museum

It was fantastic to attend the Bilsthorpe Heritage Museum coffee morning yesterday. The Museum is a fantastic tribute to the heritage of our area.

Leafletting in Bilsthorpe

Teams are out across Sherwood Forest today, delivering my latest leaflet and campaigning for Ben Bradley for East Midlands Mayor. I have started off in Bilsthorpe with some of our fantastic Councillors from Sherwood Forest, Bruce Laughton, Jane Walker and Councillor Scott Carlton.

Myself and Cllr Scott Carlton caught up with Stuart from Harworth Estates, to discuss progress on the Thoresby Vale development at Fables Coffee House in Edwinstowe.

Today I chaired a meeting at Jubilee Hall in Ollerton with residents of the Rufford Oaks estate and key stakeholders, to discuss issues within the community.

Litter Picking in Ravenshead

It was great to be back out in Ravenshead joining in the community litter pick.

It is another one of those jobs we shouldn’t need to do, however it was great to see so many people come out and take part in helping to clean up our local community.

Whinbush Lane success!

A big thank you to everyone who signed our petition to get resurfacing works undertaken on Whinbush Lane.

The road will be having over £100k of works undertaken on it this year to undertake needed repairs ahead of a future full resurfacing.
