Today I popped into Salterford House School in Calverton to meet with pupils who have written to me about the fly-tipping happening outside their school on a regular basis. I was joined by Local Councillors Boyd Elliott, Lorraine Brown and Jane Walker.
Last week myself and Councillor Tom Smith - Blidworth & Rainworth met with residents from Rigg Lane in Blidworth. The area suffers from flooding, and so we met with officers from the County Council to discuss ways to reduce the flooding risks.
Today I was in Linby where I met with the County Council, Linby Cum Papplewick Primary School and concerned parents about the need for safety improvements on the main road.
A young child was knocked over last week and broke both his ankles. Thankfully they are making a good recovery.
I met recently with volunteers from the Portland Road Mosque and Cllr Kevin Rostance, to talk about the great work they have been doing for the community.
