Yesterday Parliament voted on the Immigration Bill. This bill officially ends free movement, and introduces a points-based system of immigration to the United Kingdom.

A few days ago I was out in Edwinstowe to meet with several different groups and constituents, and whilst there we went up the High Street.

Some mixed news today from Ashfield District Council. They have decided that they will not be renewing their contract to keep the Edgewood Leisure Centre open. Instead, they will be handing the building back to Nottinghamshire County Council.
